Talc has been back in the news recently with large verdicts in favor of women claiming that they suffered from cervical cancer as a result of their use of talcum powder.  We can expect to see additional claims by additional plaintiffs claiming similar injuries.  But talc claims are not new.  There have been previous claims by individuals that they were exposed to asbestos-contaminated powder and contracted mesothelioma.  Our speakers will include a toxicologist who will provide a medical background and a veteran defense attorney to discuss strategies for defending these claims.
