AIRROC WFH (Working From Home) Webinars

AIRROC Adapts to Serve the Legacy Insurance Sector

As part of our pledge to pivot and make sure that we can still bring relevant educational content to our members and the entire legacy sector, AIRROC is offering a series of webinars from our Corporate Partners on current and emerging issues.

What Insurers Need to Know About CBD

Regulations surrounding CBD are confusing, but many of the legal pitfalls that exist for marijuana are less acute or non-existent when it comes to CBD.  Yet the CBD industry continues to be underserved by insurers. Learn the basics of what the insurance industry needs to know to make informed decisions about its entry into this arena.

Topics to be covered include:

  • Regulatory Status of CBD/Hemp
  • The USDA's Role in Regulating Hemp
  • How State and Local Regulations Impact CBD Legality
  • The FDA's Role
  • Risk Factors of Doing Business with Hemp/CBD Entities
  • Insurance and CDB/Hemp
